WineRelease.com's April 15, 2005 Monthly Newsletter
Greetings from WineRelease.com, now 1,034 winery listings strong!
Heres a question...Wouldn't it be nice for a bunch of us wine drinkers to get together for a little dinner?
I think so.
I called Rich Wood, owner of Frascati restaurant in San Francisco, and asked him if we can do a WineRelease.com "Bring your own bottle" dinner at his wonderful, charming Russian Hill neighborhood bistro (specializing in rustic Mediterranean-influenced cuisine).
Rich and I happen to also be in the same monthly wine tasting group and every year he hosts our annual holiday dinnerwe havent had a bad meal yet!.
Our dinner will be a four course meal so if you are coming as a couple, please bring a bottle of white and red (we want to ensure an even amount of wine).
It should be a fun event and I look forward to meeting everyone.
Please feel free to email me back with questions.

First Crush New winery profile of Hestan Vineyards
Hestan Vineyards is a 127-acre ranch on the eastern part of Napa Valley at the base of Okell Hill.
Stanley and Helen Cheng purchased the property in 1996 and planted Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Syrah.
Mark Herold of Merus produced the 2002 Hestan Cabernet Sauvignon, a 570-case production of 2002 Meyer Cabernet Sauvignon, 2003 Hestan Chardonnay and 2003 Meyer Chardonnay.
The 2002 Hestan Cabernet Sauvignon is their inaugural release (280 cases) and Robert Parker gave it 95 points. The wine is available via mailing list.
