WineRelease.com's March 15, 2023 Monthly Newsletter.

This month we had 153 winery updates and 136 wineries releasing wine. That is a lot!

We went to the Moulin Rouge risque cabaret show and honestly, going into it, I must admit that my expectations were not particularly high. Nevertheless, I was determined to tick it off my bucket list. Upon entering the venue, I was immediately impressed by the stunning surroundings. The decor was opulent and extravagant, with shimmering lights and great views of the stage. The atmosphere had a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. The dancers were dressed in the most colorful and outrageous costumes, each one more eye-catching than the last. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about the can-can dance, which I had heard was a staple of the show. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was so much more to the performance than just that. There were a variety of different acts, each one more impressive and daring than the last. From acrobatics to aerial stunts, the show was a feast for the senses. One thing that really stood out to me was the quality of the food and wine. I was thoroughly impressed. The menu offered two menu options with three choices for each option. Although I forget the Champagne offered it was a respectable brand. The servers were attentive and friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend the show to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience.

My daughter goes to school for 6 weeks then gets two weeks off (common in France) so we spent 5 days in Marrakech, Morocco and stayed at the Amanjena Hotel. We highly recommend +61 restaurant for modern Moroccan food and for traditional Moroccan food, recommend Mansour Hotel's La Grande Table Marcaine.

Pierre Usseglio at Sapiens

We attended a Pierre Usseglio tasting of Rhone and Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine at one of my favorite wine bars in Paris, Sapiens in the 7th arrondissement.

One last thing. I am working on a Paris Recommendation document (primarily hotel/restaurants in the 7th) so if you plan to visit Paris, email me and I will send it. Once I feel it is good to go, I will publish it on WineRelease.com.

And now, onto the wine releases...
