This month we had 205 winery updates and 103 wineries releasing wine.

Sorry for the 2-day delay, but we have big news: we're moving from Paris back to San Francisco.

We moved to Paris in September 2021 for my wife's work and have had a wonderful time here, as shared in past WineRelease newsletters. However, she has a new job based in San Francisco, and her boss wants us back there after our daughter's school year ends. So, our time in Paris is up, and our apartment is now covered in boxes. To make the move easier on my wife, we rented a smaller apartment a few blocks away. Our home is filled with packing boxes as we decide what to take on the plane and what to leave behind for our next trip. I think it will take years to bring everything back. We'll still spend our vacations in Paris, including October, probably December, and two weeks in April. Our new place is closer to Vino Sapiens wine shop, which my wife jokingly says she chose for me.

We had over 30 friends join us for a going-away party on Saturday night. It was definitely bittersweet because, while we have many friends in the States, we've also made so many new friends here.

While I'll miss Paris, I'm excited to spend time with family and friends again and BBQ and having a dryer with a lint trap. I'm also looking forward to visiting wineries throughout California, as well as in Washington and Oregon.
